The Games Room
A specially designed games room has to be the best room in the cottage, featuring our hand made Black Pool Table, dart and hookie board.
The games room is accessible from inside the house and has large bi-folds opening onto the under covered outdoor area overlooking the garden, BBQ and fire pit areas.
The Dining Room
The dining room table is perfect for seating up to 8 adults, ideal for family meal time, dinner parties after a day at the wineries or a recovery breakfast the next day.
Sleeping Arrangement
Black Rose is a THREE bedroom cottage. The cottage has TWO Queen Bedrooms, and ONE large group bedroom containing ONE Queen and TWO singles (this 3rd room sleeps up to 4).
Lounge Room
The lounge room is central to the cottage. The lounge room comfortably seats 6-8 adults, has a TV, coffee table stocked with games and a massive indoor fireplace. The perfect place to keep the kids entertained, or curl up with a red wine at the end of a long day exploring Mudgee.
The Black Kitchen
The Black Kitchen is a long galley kitchen stretched down the sunny north side of the cottage. Its generous space and location makes for easy entertaining or cooking for a crew.
The kitchen incudes your typical cleaning essentials, as well as oil, tea and coffee. The kitchen has a electric cooktop, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, kettle and fridge.
Front Porch and Yard
The sunny front porch at Black Rose is a real beauty. Overlooking a generous front garden and white picket fence, its the perfect spot for a sunny afternoon wine or cuppa.
Everyone loves the swing chair!
Backyard
Black Rose has plenty of space for kids to play amongst the grass and trees. The outdoor area also has a paved courtyard, lit by string lights, perfect for a fire pit in the cool winter evenings.
The fence is fully enclosed for small, well-trained pets to visit. The fences are low in places, not recommended for pooches who jump!
